Biography
Satoshi Fujiwara (b. Kobe, Japan) is a Berlin-based artist working with installation, developing spatial systems through photography as a site of critical inquiry. His practice operates as a reconfigurable system for spatial production that reorganizes relations between image circulation, infrastructure, and site-specific conditions. His work has been presented at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto; Jameel Arts Centre, Dubai; Fondazione Prada, Milan; La Boverie, Liège; 21_21 Design Sight, Tokyo; and Deutsche Oper Berlin. He has participated in the Biennale de l’Image Possible, Shanghai International Photography Festival, Getxophoto, Unseen Amsterdam, and Photo London. His publications include Code Unknown (IMA); Legality of clinical nuggets (zerofeedback); HORSES (Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König).
